Located in Providence’s Elmwood neighborhood, The Whitmarsh is a historic three-story building that has been carefully restored to provide 16 family apartments with two- and three-bedroom layouts. Recognized for its architectural significance by the Providence Preservation Society, the renovation preserved original hardwood floors, built-in glass storage, and detailed molding, maintaining the building’s historic charm while modernizing its infrastructure.

This project reflects Omni Development Corporation’s expertise in historic preservation, combining affordable housing development with community revitalization efforts to ensure long-term affordability for local families.

The 1890 House is part of “Four Sisters,” a collection of properties spanning different Providence neighborhoods, including a midrise in downtown and garden-style buildings in Elmwood.
